Small but mighty.

Our ragtag group of higher education professionals and friends has combined to form a super team of cancer-fighting cyclists riding in Pelotonia. Our team originated in Athens, Georgia, where three members are based today, and three now live in the Atlanta area.

We are a team of eighteen strong Georgia-ish residents and friends committed to ending cancer...though in full disclosure, our team has grown and currently represents Connecticut, Ohio, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and North Carolina in addition to Georgia!  We’ll continue to represent Georgia as we each cycle 100-200 miles this August in Pelotonia, in honor and memory of friends and family affected by the cancer.

Each of us rides for their own reasons, but fundamentally, we’ve all been affected tremendously by cancer. We are honored to share that three of our team are survivors and thrivors. While we might not have the ability to step into a lab to conduct research ourselves, we are certain of two things in the fight against cancer: we love the freedom of cycling, and we can count on the support of our families, friends, and colleagues to help us exceed our collective fundraising goal to fund cancer research.

Our peloton, participating in our seventh Pelotonia as a team, has raised over $175,000. Every single penny of every single dollar donated on behalf of our rides will go to cancer research--100 percent. Any donations above our individual fundraising commitments will be shared among our team as we reach our final goal.

Support our team and join the fight to end cancer at our Pelotonia page.
